Courtney is the current Miss South Caroline USA and she has a big chance to win this year's Miss USA, now just for the Hungarian fans, she gave us an interview!
-Hi Courtney you are the current Miss South Carolnia Usa, how did you get involved in pageants?
I started pageants in 9th grade and began with my high school. It was a lot of fun and since I grew up really shy I kept competing because it taught me how to have self confidence for public speaking.
-Many people including me consider you a big favourite for the title of Miss Usa 2011. How does it make you feel?
It means the world to me to know that people believe I can win! It took some encouragement and people to believe in me before I could believe in myself. That's why I'm SO thankful for everyone who has supported me through it all and am so ready for Miss USA!!
-If you won Miss Usa 2011 what would be the most important thing for you to achieve or do during those one year?
After winning Miss USA the most important thing I'd want to achieve is having the opportunities to speak to young girls and women on how to have positive self esteems. Also, I want to meet my favorite actress, Sandra Bullock, visit Italy, fly in Trump's private jet, and win Miss Universe!
-Miss Universe/ World Hungary will be in 14 of July the contestants are just selected! What is the most important advice for them? What is the secrtet of winning a pageant?:)
The best advice I can give anyone who is competing, is to have the mental focus that you CAN win, then do your best in preparation to be 100% ready if the opportunity came for you to be crowned. That way you'll have no regrets and be able to STAY focused during competition because you have nothing to worth about. :)
